Armenian Prime Minister and newly elected Iranian President hold telephone talk

YEREVAN, JULY 9, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, had a telephone conversation with the newly elected President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.

Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the press secretary of the Armenian Prime Minister, said on social media.

The Prime Minister of Armenia congratulated the President of Iran on his victory in the elections and wished him an effective tenure.

The interlocutors reaffirmed their commitment to the agreements previously reached at the interstate level.  The parties agreed to meet at an upcoming opportunity.
