Defense minister introduces new military police chief to department

YEREVAN, MAY 27, ARMENPRESS. During a consultation on May 27 in the Defense Ministry’s military police department, defense minister of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan introduced the new Chief of Military Police Colonel Arthur Baghdasaryan to the department’s staff.

Sargsyan thanked the former Chief, Major General Samvel Ghukasyan, for his long and effective service, and expressed confidence that the newly appointed Chief’s knowledge, skills and experience will contribute to discovering and preventing corruption risks within the armed forces, as well as enhancing the efficiency of joint work between the command of military bases and the military police.
