YEREVAN, MAY 13, ARMENPRESS. In a working meeting with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on May 13, Justice Minister Arpine Hovhannisyan reported on the main directions of the activities of the ministry, as well as on the institutional reforms underway in the sphere of fight against corruption.
As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Armenian President’s Office, the Minister presented details on the new body on fight against corruption, noting that the body will have a status of autonomy. Arpine Hovhannisyan also reported that the anti-corruption body has been granted with new powers. The President of the Republic gave relevant instructions.
At the end of the meeting the President thanked Arpine Hovhannisyan for her activities as a Justice Minister and expressed conviction that in the newly elected National Assembly Arpine Hovhannisyan will act with the same enthusiasm and will be as active as she was in the Cabinet.
