Enhanced control in Yerevan subway

YEREVAN, APRIL 5, ARMENPRESS. All stations of Karen Demirchyan Yerevan Subway enhanced control, Subway press secretary Ninel Vardanyan told Armenpress.

“After terror attack in St. Petersburg metro, the Police of Yerevan considered it necessary to enhance control in the subway aimed at ensuring the safety of every citizen. There is nothing extraordinary, there has always been a control, it is just more toughened”, she said.

Ninel Vardanyan informed that Police officers are politely checking the bags of suspicious people, video records of cameras are being examined.
