Armenia needs good specialists and organizers, says President Sargsyan

YEREVAN, MARCH 15, ARMENPRESS. Armenia needs good organizers and specialists, President Serzh Sargsyan said in the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, “Armenpress” correspondent reports.

“It would be better that even not all Armenians, but at least 50% of them return to Armenia since we really need them”, the President said.

He recalled that in the recent period the state has started to provide assistance to the students who study in the world’s 10 best universities. “We pay their tuition, and majority of them returns, however, we need good specialists. Already leading companies in their spheres come to Armenia, that’s why there is a need of specialists”, the President said, adding that there is a need of specialists in the security field.

“In line with this, we still do not have enough opportunities to provide people with apartments, well-paid jobs, that’s why we still do not carry out specific programs on this path. Probably, you know that we are criticized in our country that people leave Armenia. This is not a good process, despite that it is typical for not only all post-Soviet countries, but also the countries of Eastern Europe, as well as those countries where the standard of living is 5-6 times higher than that of Armenia. In fact, this is the process”, Serzh Sargsyan said. He suggested the Armenian students of the Institute to form a group and develop proposals over the abovementioned issues which he is ready to consider.
