President Sargsyan congratulates honored director/scriptwriter Albert Mkrtchyan on 80th anniversary

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 27, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan congratulated director and scriptwriter, Honored Artist of Armenia Albert Mkrtchyan on his 80th birthday, wishing the honored filmmaker health and new artistic achievements, the President’s Office told ARMENPRESS.

Particularly the message said: “Being one of the outstanding figures of Armenian cinema, by your talent you portrayed the hidden episodes of human nature and state of mind, the life and inner world of an Armenian man”.

“Your contribution is significant in theater as well, for the establishment and foundation of the “Mher Mkrtchyan” artistic theater, which stands out with its unique signature in the theatrical diversity of the capital”.
