President Sargsyan receives newly appointed OSCE MG French Co-chair

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received on December 14 Stefan Visconti.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Armenian President’s Office, the President congratulated Ambassador Visconti on the appointment and wished him success in the important diplomatic mission. Serzh Sargsyan hoped that the efforts of the OSCE Minsk group Co-chair countries, the Russian Federation, the USA and the Republic of France, aimed at the exclusively peaceful settlement of Nagorno Karabakh in line with the norms and principles of international right will go on in a constructive manner and stressed that Armenia is ready to make efforts together with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs for that goal.

The French Co-chair conveyed the warm greetings of the French President Francois Hollande to Serzh Sargsyan and assured he will work assiduously in the new position with the comprehension of all the difficulties and the importance of the issue since it refers to the stability, security and prosperity of the entire region.
