YEREVAN, DECEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan held a phone conversation with US Vice President-elect Mike Pence on December 1. The conversation was held by the initiative of the American side, the President’s Office told ARMENPRESS.
President Sargsyan once again congratulated US President-elect Trump and his team on the victory in the election and wished successes during the realization of the responsible mission.
Both President Sargsyan and Vice President-elect of the United States Mike Pence underscored that during the tenure of the new US administration the present high level Armenian-American cooperation in the political and economic fields will not only be maintained, but will also gain new impetus. The sides also discussed several issues of mutual interest, including regional matters and challenges.
