Armenia becomes UN General Assembly Vice-President

YEREVAN, JUNE 14, ARMENPRESS. The United Nations elected Armenia as a Vice-President of the General Assembly through the secret ballot, reports “Armenpress”.
Except from Armenia, 20 states also became Vice-Presidents.
Armenia was elected from the Eastern European countries. Among the Western European countries Belgium and Germany were elected as Vice-Presidents.
Five permanent members of the UN Security Council China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom and the US are included among the 21 Vice-Presidents.
