Armenian Parliament speaker meets Russian ambassador

Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan has met with Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin.

According to a readout from the parliament’s press service, Speaker Rubinyan and Ambassador Kopyrkin discussed “issues related to further deepening and expanding interparliamentary cooperation between Armenia and Russia.”

Speaker Rubinyan emphasized that the Armenian parliament intends to continue constructive dialogue and develop long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation.

The sides highlighted the activities of the Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Armenian and Russian legislatures, highly appreciating their joint work.

The parties expressed the belief that the development of bilateral cooperation will contribute to joint efforts aimed at effectively addressing a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
