Prime Minister of Artsakh urges displaced people to return to their homes

YEREVAN, MAY 10, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Arayik Harutyunyan visited Shushi city on May 10 and met with a group of people displaced from their homes in Martakert region as a result of the 4-day war in April who found a shelter in Shsushi. As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Government of Artsakh , the PM familiarized himself with the living conditions of the displaced and discussed a number of issues related to their return.
“With the exception of residents of Talish and Mataghis settlements, I urge the residents of the other communities to return to their homes, as there are no more threats and the situation is under our control. I would like to assure you that the Government deals with your problems every day, and we are ready to render adequate support after you return. Restoration works are underway and those citizens who have suffered losses will be respectively compensated”, Arayik Harutyunyan said, adding that it is necessary to return and quickly engage in agricultural activities. The residents mainly responded positively to the PM’s proposal, and expressed desire to move to their communities in the coming days.
