YEREVAN, MARCH 17, ARMENPRESS. President Serzh Sargsyan, who is currently on a working visit in Belgium, participates at the Summit of the European People's Party (EPP) in Brussels on 17 March. It is chaired by EPP President Joseph Dole. As "Armenpress" was informed by the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the President's, the summit is attended by European Council and European Commission Presidents Jean-Claude Juncker and Donald Tusk, heads of States and Governments of the member parties of EU member states and Eastern partnership members cooperating with EPP.
It is expected that the summit participants will discuss the problems and prospects of economic development, will address current international challenges, including the Syrian crisis, the serious challenge of refugee problems in Europe, questions concerning the political situation in EU member states and the EU Neighborhood Policy.
