New letters to be used in Armenian license plates

The letters “G” and “X” will be added to the license plate letters “A”, “C”, “D”, “F”, “L”, “M”, “N”, “O”, “P”, “Q”, “R”, “S”, “T”, “U”, “V” and “Z”. As “Armenpress” reports the draft legislation is included in the Cabinet meeting of March 10.

"The necessity for taking this decision is due to the fact of the decreasing demand of popular license plates, as the license plates containing letters of interest are no longer available," reads the draft justification.

It is expected that the decision will increase demand of popular license plates of interest.
