YEREVAN, JANUARY 14, ARMENPRESS. President of the Republic of Armenia, chairman of the Chess Federation of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited “Tigran Petrosian” Chess House on January 14 to watch the 76th male and 71st female competition of Armenia.
As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Public Relations and Mass media of Republic of Armenia President’s Staff, it is a round-robin tournament with 11 male and 9 female rounds. 12 chess players are included in male competition, including 9 Gross Masters and 2 International Masters. 10 chess players are included in female competition, including 3 International Masters. Winners of the competition will be included in the national team.
