YEREVAN, DECEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. 400 cultural events have been organized in 35 countries dedicated to the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Deputy Culture Minister Nerses Ter-Vardanyan told the journalists about this.

“This is, indeed, a huge number. Of course, there were large and small events. But, imagine, more than one event took place every day. The concerts “With you, Armenia” took place in different countries: prestigious creative collectives and individuals dedicated their concerts to the anniversary of the Armenian genocide. Armenian collectives and individuals gave concerts abroad, for example, Armenia's National Philharmonic Orchestra, State Youth Orchestra, Little Singers of Armenia, State Dance Ensemble of Armenia, Aram Khachaturian Trio and so on”, “Armenpress” reports, Nerses Ter-Vardanyan mentioned.

He informed that various exhibitions took place as well, where the Armenian civilization, a part of which is the issue of the Armenian Genocide, was introduced.

“Our aim was to introduce the path passes by the nation, people, where the genocide was just an episode, and to show the world that we do not look back, but forward. We did not lose our culture because of those developments, but it spread all over the world”, he mentioned.

Nerses Ter-Vardanyan also reminded that film shows headlined “Never again” took place in different countries and films dedicated to the anniversary were shot.
