A meeting with the creative team of the Yerevan State Puppet Theatre was held at the cultural centre of the Armenian Embassy in Russia.
During the meeting, the theatre’s performers presented excerpts from the production “Yerevan Tram”, which has proved popular with Moscow audiences. They also spoke about the theatre’s distinctive genre characteristics and the professional nuances of their work and shared details of their new creative projects.

Speaking to Armenpress’s Moscow correspondent, Vladimir Gabbe, head of the Embassy’s cultural centre, highlighted the importance of such initiatives in strengthening ties between Armenia and the Diaspora.
The event was jointly organised by the Lazarev Foundation for Cultural Initiatives and the Embassy’s cultural centre for the heads and teachers of Armenian Sunday schools in Moscow and the Moscow region.

The Yerevan State Puppet Theatre is taking part in the second Zhelezkin International Puppet Theatre Festival and Awards in Moscow from September 16 to 21.
