President Serzh Sargsyan participates in Supreme Eurasian Economic Council session

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. On December 21, President of the Republic of Armenia participated in narrow and then expanded format session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council after the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Mass Media of Republic of Armenia President’s Staff, during the talks the heads of the Eurasian Economic Union, Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the implementation process of a number of decisions taken during the previous, October 16, 2015 Supreme Eurasian Economic Council session, as well as the 2016 budget of the Eurasian Economic Council, conducting a census in the Union until 2020 and a number of other issues.

The heads of the Union have confirmed fees paid by business entities in case of applying to the Eurasian Economic Union’s court and discussed the issue of collaboration between the EAEU member states over EAEU and Silk Road linkage.

A reference was made to the issue of suspending free trade agreement between the Russian federation and Ukraine.
