United Armenian Fund and “AmeriCares” send medical assistance to Armenia and Artsakh worth $5.9 million

Glendale, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS. The United Armenian Fund (UAF) in collaboration with “AmeriCares” company sent medicine and other medical supplies to Armenia and Artsakh worth $5.9 million. “Armenpress” was informed about this from “Asbarez” periodical.

“For years AmeriCares presented Armenia and Artsakh with lifesaving medicines, medical supplies and equipments worth tens of millions dollars”, president of UAF Harut Sasunyan mentioned, adding that he attaches great importance to long-lasting cooperation with “AmeriCares”.

During 26 years the United Armenian Fund sent humanitarian aid to Armenia and Artsakh worth 720 million USD.

The Fund was established by the unified efforts of Armenian EvangelicalAssociation of America, Armenian Relief Society, Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America, Prelacy of the Armenian Church of North America and Armenian General Benevolent Union.
