YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Chess Federation President Kirsan Ilyumzyinov is full of hopes that Armenian chess players will participate in chess Olympiad in Baku.
“I met with president Serzh Sargsyan, who is also the president of the Federation , for several times. He contributed 4 chess players, presenting Armenia and 2 chess players of Armenian origins to participate in Baku chess Olympiade. “During the opening of the world cup I spoke to Levon Aronian and to other chess payers and I think, that Armenian chess players will participate in the Olympiad held in Baku the next year”, Rsport website transmits FIDE president’s speech, as “Armenpress” reports.
2016 chess Olympiad will held in Baku.
