100 pomegranate trees were planted in memory of Armenian Genocide victims in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, SEPTEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS: Los Angeles City Council, leaded by Council member Paul Grigoryan, planted trees dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, in the frames of which 100 pomegranate trees were planted in the parks and streets of the city.

"Los Angeles was, of course, one of the first to stand next to the Armenian people and called for justice and recognition. The project appears to be a living monument. These trees will symbolize the history of Armenian people. Anyone who visits or travels to this city will see the pomegranate trees, which will blossom and flourish as long as the local community lives. These trees will be symbols of hope, rebirth and salvation, said Grigoryan, as "Armenpress "reports.
