IT sector continues to develop in Armenia

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. In spite of the complicated situation of the world economy, the IT sector continues to develop in Armenia. “Armenpress” reports that the Executive director at the Union of Information Technology Enterprises, Karen Vardanyan, informed about this during a press conference.

The USA is among the main partners of Armenia in the IT sector, which, according to him, creates troubles in organizing the business trips for Armenian IT specialists to the USA. “As refers to the restraints that the United States of America imposes on us regarding business trips of our specialists to America, it damages them first of all. We hope that political turbulences will no longer cause such problems”, noted Vardanyan.

IT sector rose by 25.2% in 2014 compared to the previous year.
