Situation in Aleppo relatively calm

YEREVAN, AUGUST 24, ARMENPRESS. The situation in Aleppo, which has a large Armenian population, has been relatively calm recently. Our source from Aleppo mentioned about this in an interview with “Armenpress”, adding that shootings and bombings are sporadically heard but, fortunately, no shaking incidents have happened. Though the tense situation and fierce clashes are behind, the situation continues to be uncertain and unpredictable. “Restoration of water supply a day before made the residents happy”, the source mentioned.

After 16 days of full disruption of electricity and water supplies, electricity supply is being restored, after which water supply of some districts started as well.
