Tax reforms discussed by Government

YEREVAN, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS. Consultation about tax reforms took place on July 21, headed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan. Heads of relevant departments participated in the consultation. Issues concerning to the prospects and opportunities of sustainable and long-term economic development in Armenia, fostering exports, improvement of business environment, increasing competitiveness, attracting investments were raised. Exchange of ideas took place during which proposed changes were discussed and a number of suggestions were introduced.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the head of the Government, summing up the discussion, highlighted the tax reforms for sustainable and long-term economic development and assigned heads of responsible departments to continue making efforts in that direction.
