Loan provided by RF to increase combat readiness of Armed Forces of Republic of Armenia. Movses Hakobyan

YEREVAN, JULY 11, ARMENPRESS. The 200 million loan provided by the Russian Federation was necessary to increase the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. In an interview with journalists informed the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of Armenia Movses Hakobyan, “I am sure that the loan was necessary to increase the combat readiness of our army, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia”, as reports “Armenpress”, he emphasized.

On July 26 President Serzh Sargsyan received the delegation headed by Russian Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov, Co-Chairman of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation. Serzh Sargsyan had mentioned that the commission meeting was also marked by the conclusion of a 200 million preferential loan agreement, which would allow Armenia to considerably enlarge the range of modern armament used by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
