Karen Petrosyan’s death is on conscience of Azerbaijanis: Serzh Sargsyan

The death of the 32-year-old resident of the village of Chinari Karen Petrosyan is on the conscience of the Azerbaijanis, and, of course, they are responsible for his death. Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan said this in an interview with "ArmNews" TV, answering the question "whether it is possible to assert that in Karen’s case, we are dealing with a war crime and a violation of the international law, as far as a civilian was forced under torture to confess that he was a saboteur and as a result of the torture he died.

"Today, speaking in the presence of the President of Russia on another topic, I said to the President of Azerbaijan, it is a shame to kill such people. He said: "We did not kill." To which I said, why should the 31-year-old man cross the border, according to my information, in a drunken state, and die at your side. He says, "perhaps, he was frightened and died." But we have to be more careful: war is not a joke, war does not tolerate frivolous attitude "- said Armenia’s President.
