Armenia carries out work for access to CU by 50 %

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS. Armenia carried out almost half of the outlined events for the access to the Customs Union.
“Armenpress” reports that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan stated this in an interview with Itar-Tass.
“Till today we have not had any omitted events. And by our assessment the work that should be done before joining the Customs Union , is already done by about 50 percent,” the Head of the Government of the Republic of Armenia said.
According to the Prime Minister, the “road map” of joining the CU includes 260 events which are largely clarified by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
“On the basis of this program 20 working groups operate at us which are responsible for the realization of this or that directions. Every day they report on the carried out work,” Sargsyan clarified. He added that one of the main issues relates to customs duties.
