Work activities of Armenia’s accession to CU summarize

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 21, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan received Member-Minister of the European Economic Commission Board Tatyana Valovaya. The delegation led by her arrived in Yerevan to discuss the processing of the work activities towards the accession of the Customs Union. 22 thematic working groups were established by the decision of the Prime Minister on November 26 2013 for the aim of the coordination of that program.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that Tigran Sargsyan informed the guests that at the course of the consultations being held per week, the Prime Minister is reported about the realization of the events envisaged for the “road map”. “I have ordered the heads of the working groups to introduce a compact report and separate issues subjected to discussion. Today’s meeting is a good opportunity to clarify existing problems through live dialogue,” the Head of the Government said.

Expressing satisfaction with the results of the joint work Mrs. Valovaya noted that it proceeds according to the defined schedule.

She highlighted the high level of preparedness involved in working groups. She informed that the Eurasian Economic Commission will prepare an interim report on the process of the “road map” which will be discussed in the consequent session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
