YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 20, ARMENPRESS: By the instruction of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan, a commission will be established, headed by the Ministry of Economy and with the participation of the public organizations, which will discuss and check the level of caloric value of the gas, imported to the Republic of Armenia and supplied to the consumers. At the Government’s session Tigran Sargsyan stated that though clarifications have already been provided concerning the gas caloric value, still there are doubts if the indicator corresponds to the conditions, presented to the public and if the quality of the gas has changed. “We are obliged to give answers to these questions”, - said the Prime Minister, Armenpress reports.

The President of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia Robert Nazaryan commented on the public discontent for the gas quality: “First, gas is measured on the border and then the economic entities, which are interested in the issue, again make some checking. But all this does not satisfy the subjects. I suggested the businessmen to unite and establish a laboratory costing about $20-60,000 so that they would be able to measure the quality of the gas”.
