Hayastan All Armenian Fund continues programs to assist Syrian Armenians

YEREVAN, JUNE 26, ARMENPRESS: In the framework of the programs carried out in the assistance to the Syrian Armenians, the Hayastan All Armenian Fund continues supporting our compatriots. As Armenpress was reported by the Press Service of the Hayastan All Armenian Fund, programs in the healthcare, education and social fields have already been implemented. By June 2013 100,000 EURO (Local body of France), 12,000 EURO (Local body of Germany) and 100,000 USD (Local body of Lebanon) had been directed to the settlement of different problems of the Syrian Armenians living in Syria.

Due to the financial assistance provided by the Fund’s local bodies of Brazil, Argentina and Sweden, the tuition fee of 110 Syrian Armenians was compensated, as well as 6 of our compatriots were operated on the heart. By 10,000 USD, collected by the Fund’s West Coast affiliate, material assistance was provided to the Yerevan Cilician School. By the funds donated by the businessmen Hrayr Hovnanyan and Ara Abrahamyan, the Hayastan All Armenian Fund financed the Aleppo-Yerevan-Aleppo flights.
