Due to results of about 100 polls Serzh Sargsyan is still leading

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 19, ARMENPRESS: Central Electoral Commission of Armenia is announcing the results of presidential elections by polling stations. Results of 97 polls have been concluded by now and according to them incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan is still leading. As reports Armenpress by 00:31 am results are as follows: Hrant Bagratyan- 1002 votes (1.9%), Paruyr Hayrikyan-521 votes (0.99%), Raffi Hovhannisyan has 15,770 votes (29.95%), Andreas Ghukasyan-255 votes (0.48%), Arman Melikyan -103 votes (0,20%), Serzh Sargsyan has 34,556 votes (65.64 %) and Vardan Sedrakyan -439 votes (0.83%).

60.05 percent of the voters, that’s to say 1,518,407 citizens, have participated in the votes.

This is already the sixth time the Armenian citizens participate in presidential elections. 1988 polling stations of 41 electoral districts are open by 08:00. The total number of the voters included in the voters' register of the Republic of Armenia is 2.505.980. There were seven candidates running for president in the Republic of Armenia. The results of the presidential elections will be summed up on February.
