Serzh Sargsyan is winning due to exit-poll results

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS. In accordance with the results of exit-poll held by the Armenian Sociological Association and The Gallup Organization throughout the entire Republic on February 18, Armenia’s incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan received the majority of the votes. 58 percent of the respondents voted on his behalf. The exit-poll was held on the order of “ArmNews” TV company in 32 and 122 precincts of Yerevan and Armenian regions respectively.

“Armenpress” introduces the results of the Exit-poll in the alphabetical order, as it is represented in the ballots.

Hrant Bagratyan – 3%

Paruyr Hayrikyan – 3%

Raffi Hovhannisian –32%

Andrias Ghukasyan –1%

Arman Melikyan – 1%

Serzh Sargsyan – 58%

Vardan Sedrakyan – 1%

This is already the sixth time the Armenian citizens participate in presidential elections. 1988 polling stations of 41 electoral districts are open by 08:00. The total number of the voters included in the voters' register of the Republic of Armenia is 2.505.980. There are seven contenders running for president in the Republic of Armenia. The votes will be over at 20:00. The results of the presidential elections will be summed up on February 25, 2013.
