Serzh Sargsyan promised to implement his new healthcare program

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 8, ARMENPRESS: Serzh Sargsyan presented his perceptions of secure Armenia and possible ways to reach it during the meeting with Kanaker-Zeytun voters which took place on February 8. As reports Armenpress, presidential candidate has highlighted the importance of such meetings and added they give a new impetus and possibility for the achievement of complete the program.

“During such meetings I try to present and express my ideas as simply and laconic as possible, but there are cases when issue requires detailed presentation. In villages and cities of Armenia I am presenting already preplanned initiations of all spheres, from defence to science, culture to justice. There is no such sphere which is not directly or indirectly connected with the security of citizens; reforms are mutually fulfilling each other. Goal of the secure Armenia is clear, and the foothold of secure Armenia is secure homeland,” Serzh Sargsyan said.

During his meeting with Kanaker-Zeytun residents Sargsyan mainly referred to healthcare reforms. He stressed the importance of each citizen to be provided with an opportunity to have qualified medical service. Presidential candidate referred to upcoming healthcare reforms including construction of hospital for blood diseases as well as of oncology center.

“We have to turn Armenia into the best medical center of the region. Social departments are going to be opened in the drug stores of the Republic in 3-4 months where the drugs of same quality will be for 30-35 percent cheaper than they are,” Serzh Sargsyan said.

He highlighted that his perceptions were not just baseless theses.

The election campaign launched on January 21 and will last until February 16. The deadline of submitting resignations to the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia is 18:00 o’clock, February 8. The electronic votes will launch at 08:00 o’clock on February 9 and last until 20:00 o’clock February 13. The votes will kick off on February 18 at 08:00 and will last until 20:00 o’clock. Final results of the presidential elections will be announced on February.
