Prime Minister of Armenia holds farewell meeting with German Ambassador

YEREVAN, JUNE 19, ARMENPRESS: Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan held a farewell meeting with German Ambassador to Armenia Hans-Jochen Schmidt, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia, government’s press service told Armenpress. Tigran Sargsyan said that the Armenian-German joint projects are singled out for their productivity and voiced hope that their number will grow in future. “We are interested in strengthening and expansion of Armenian-German bilateral relations. That cooperation is of high significance to us in regard to Armenia’s Eurointegration process as well,” PM said. Hans-Jochen Schmidt thanked Tigran Sargsyan for cooperation and pointed out the PM’s assistance in involvement of German investments. The Ambassador stressed that Germany is interested in extending productive activity with Armenia in various spheres. In that context the interlocutors discussed issues related to the spheres of energy, education, etc. They also referred to Armenia’s Eurointegration processes, particularly, to the negotiations over DCFTA. The ambassador assured that he will continue acting in favor of development of Armenian-German relations. Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan thanked the ambassador for the works implemented in Armenia and wished new successes in his further activity.
