PM says pensions, social allowances to increase

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS:

From January 1, 2012 the Armenian Government will increase the social allowances and pensions by 10%. Armenpress reports that it has been stated today by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan at the annual pension conference.

"Even during the crisis years the state not only completely implemented its commitments but increased the pensions and social allowances. We are consecutive in respect of applying this principle of the social policy," the head of the government said.
