Armenia fails to enter final of the “Eurovision 2011” song contest

YEREVAN, MAY 11, ARMENPRESS:
Armenia will not participate in the final of the "Eurovision 2011" song contest. The winners of the first semi-final are Serbia, Greece, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Switzerland, Hungary, Finland, Russia and Iceland.
Armenia was represented by Emmy with "Boom-Boom" song. For the first time in the history of Armenia's participation in the contest, the country failed to enter the final.
Armenia is participating in the song contest since 2006. The first participant was Andre who took the eighth place. Last year Armenia was represented by Eva Rivas who took the seventh place.
The second semi-final of "Eurovision 2011" will take place May 12 and the final May 14.
