Issues of agricultural cooperatives under the limelight of PM

YEREVAN, MARCH 19, ARMENPRESS: RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan left today for the Armenian province of Armavir to get acquainted with the work of the consuming cooperatives. The prime minister was accompanied by the Chairman of the Public Council Vazgen Manukyan, Minister of Agriculture Gerasim Alaverdyan, responsible of the sphere, members of the Public Council.

The first stop of the prime minister was in the Lukashin village where he was presented the activity and issues of cooperative.

Governmental press service told Armenpress that the prime minister was reported about the issues of rural cooperative, which mainly refer to the legal regulation and opportunities of involving circulating means. Tigran Sargsyan answered to the questions of the members of cooperative and residents of the community and gave assignments to relevant state departments.

Afterwards Tigran Sargsyan visited Vanand village where he met with the representatives of “Vanand” consuming cooperative. During the meeting the farmers and individual villagers forwarded questions they were interested in, particularly connected with the irrigation water, achievement of agricultural technology, achievement of low-interest loans and issues connected with harvest consumption. The representatives of the community presented the issues of the kinder-garten and school.

The prime minister referred to the issue on consuming the agricultural products. Listening to the members of community and heads of cooperatives the prime minister summed up the issues to solve them in the government.
