EU stands in solidarity with Armenia amid Russian economic pressure, says Marta Kos

The European Union stands in solidarity with Armenia in the face of economic pressure exerted by Russia, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos has said.
She stressed that Europe supports Armenia.
According to Kos, the European Union’s financial assistance, trade measures and solidarity will help alleviate that pressure.
“I look forward to starting the work of the EU-Armenia Task Force as agreed between President von der Leyen and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today.

Earlier, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed ways to deepen Armenia-European Union cooperation and agreed on the establishment of an EU-Armenia Task Force.
