Wilco and the Economic Journalists Club sign MOU to support financial and investment literacy agenda in Armenia

Wilco Wealth Management announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Economic Journalists Club of Armenia. The collaboration aims to support media professionals in building a stronger understanding of capital markets and contributing to the broader financial and investment literacy agenda in Armenia.
The formal signing on 19 September marked the launch of a series of recurring interactive workshops for members of the Club, which brings together journalists from a range of public and private media outlets in Armenia. These sessions provide media professionals with direct access to senior financial practitioners and focus on current economic trends of importance, such as capital market dynamics, asset management, succession planning, and family governance, helping participants to develop an understanding of how these areas operate.

The President of the Economic Journalists Club of Armenia, Anna Baghdasaryan, noted that a journalist's task is not only to convey information, but also to understand and present complex economic and financial processes, along with their potential impacts and risks, in a way that is accessible to the public. In this regard, we place special emphasis on the continuous development of professional knowledge and direct dialogue with industry experts. Our partnership with Wilco Wealth Management creates precisely this opportunity to deepen our understanding of financial markets, investments, and asset management," said Baghdasaryan, expressing confidence that an initiative like this will help elevate the quality of financial journalism in Armenia, and in turn, a more informed and professional media will contribute to rising financial and investment literacy in the country.
The initiative reflects both organizations' shared commitment to cultivating open professional dialogue and contributing to Armenia's broader financial and investment awareness. The joint workshops and collaborative formats outlined in the MOU will be held on a regular basis throughout the year.
