12 Armenian doctors return after completing training in Nice

Twelve Armenian doctors who underwent professional training at medical centers in Nice, France, have returned to Armenia.

The Armenian Ministry of Health said in a press release that Minister Anahit Avanesyan, emphasizing the importance of international experience-sharing and the need for continuous improvement of healthcare professionals’ skills, met with the doctors who had returned from France to hear their views on the effectiveness of the program and cooperation.

Representatives of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Associations of the French Riviera and the SOS-Armenie Cote d’Azur association also attended the meeting.

The program is being implemented in cooperation between the association and Armenia’s Ministry of Health. The meeting also addressed cooperation, particularly opportunities to expand the program.

It is planned that in the future, in addition to doctors, healthcare policymakers, healthcare system leaders and managers will also have the opportunity to undergo professional training in France.
