Heavy rain in Rome has caused flooding in parts of the city and serious disruptions to traffic, the Italian newspaper La Repubblica reported.
The northern districts of the city were the hardest hit, including Balduina, Ponte Milvio, Monte Mario, Prati and Bufalotta.
The rainfall reportedly reached 54.7 millimeters, with at least 48 millimeters falling in just half an hour.
In Castelnuovo di Porto, a kindergarten was flooded, and the children and staff were moved to a safe area.
