Scattered short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected across Armenia during the daytime on September 19, at times on September 20, and in some areas in the afternoons from September 21-24. Hail is also possible, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center said in a statement.
Heavy rain is expected in some parts of Shirak, Lori, Tavush and Gegharkunik provinces during the daytime on September 19 and on September 20. Winds will be westerly at 2-5 meters per second, increasing to 17-20 meters per second during thunderstorms.
Temperatures will drop by 3-5 degrees during the daytime on September 19, then gradually rise by the same amount from September 21-23.
In Yerevan, rain is expected during the daytime on September 19. Short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon on September 20, with winds strengthening to 16-19 meters per second during thunderstorms. No precipitation is expected in the capital from September 21-24.
