Henrik Abrahamyan, the brother of former Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, has been arrested as part of a criminal proceeding being conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee.
The Anti-Corruption Committee confirmed the arrest to Armenpress and detailed the alleged offenses but did not specify them.
“We inform you that the brother of former Armenian Prime Minister H. A. has been arrested as part of a criminal proceeding being conducted by the Anti-Corruption Committee in connection with cases of abuse of official powers by an official, aiding such an act, official forgery, and use of a forged document,” the Anti-Corruption Committee told Armenpress.
