Armenia will continue its strategy of seeking alternatives in all possible economic and security areas, Security Council Secretary Alen Simonyan has said.
A journalist asked Simonyan whether the possible increase in the price of Russian gas is currently on the Armenia-Russia agenda and what alternatives Armenia has to Russian gas.
“In all possible economic and security issues, Armenia has chosen and will continue to choose alternatives and balances, and this strategy will continue. From all possible countries,” Secretary Simonyan said.
Asked whether a possible change in the price of gas is on the official agenda of Armenia and Russia, the Secretary of the Security Council responded:
“It is on the agenda to the extent that you hear the public responses and quotes.”
