Due to the influx of a wave of tropical warm air from the regions of Iraq, air temperatures across Armenia will rise by 5-6 degrees Celsius during the daytime on August 23-24 compared with August 21, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center said.
Across Armenia, daytime temperatures on August 23-24 will generally reach the mid-to-high 30s, with some areas reaching 40°C.
The Rescue Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs urged people to strictly observe fire safety rules and immediately call 112 in the event of a fire or any situation posing a fire hazard.
