Pashinyan inspects COP17 venue as preparations move forward in Yerevan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Meridian Expo Center in Yerevan on Saturday, where preparations for hosting COP17—the Seventeenth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD)—are in full swing.
Pashinyan’s office said that he inspected the ongoing work.
Officials responsible for the process briefed the Prime Minister on the upcoming steps and said that all preparations are proceeding according to plan.
The Prime Minister toured the areas designated for conference sessions, delegation work, media operations, technical services, and other functions. He also familiarized himself with the infrastructure, technical facilities, and measures being implemented to ensure logistical accessibility.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of effective interagency cooperation and proper coordination with international partners to ensure the successful organization and high-level hosting of COP17.
