Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan said Friday that police continue to investigate possible electoral violations and vote-buying activities.

Speaking to reporters in parliament, Sargsyan said that law enforcement authorities are continuing efforts to uncover election-related crimes and that further arrests may follow if sufficient grounds are established.

She emphasized that the work of law enforcement agencies is not limited to election day.

She said that the police continue to carry out operational and investigative measures aimed at identifying and detaining individuals who interfered with voters’ electoral rights or exerted influence on the electoral process.

Sargsyan assured that the process is ongoing and that additional arrests will be made if the available evidence warrants such action.
