Armenian culture minister again inspects renovation progress at genocide memorial

Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan once again visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex in Yerevan to inspect the ongoing renovation work.
Hasmik Hakobyan, the ministry’s Secretary General, accompanied the Minister.
During the visit, the Minister was briefed on the progress and quality of the renovation and improvement works. Existing issues were discussed on-site, along with potential solutions.
“The Minister emphasized the importance of carrying out works in the memorial complex aimed at adapting the environment and ensuring inclusivity. Representatives of the contracting organization provided information on the restoration work conducted on the arches of the memorial, as well as details on the qualitative standards of the selected stone materials. The Minister highlighted the need for specialists to work diligently and responsibly, stressing strict adherence to high-quality standards and project timelines,” the ministry said in a press release.
Andreasyan has personally visited the memorial numerous times to inspect the ongoing renovations since the work began.
