The 10th session of the CIS Anti-Corruption Interstate Council kicked off in Yerevan on Friday.
Members of the Council include the prosecutor-generals of Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, the Uzbek anti-corruption agency and Tajikistan’s financial control and anti-corruption agency.
Armenian Deputy PM Mher Grigoryan and Prosecutor-General Anna Vardapetyan are participating in the session attended by officials from member states, including the Russian Deputy Prosecutor-General Pyotr Gorodov, Deputy Prosecutor-General of Belarus Sergey Khmaruk, CIS Executive Committee representative Igor Malashevic and others.
Deputy PM Mher Grigoryan said that the council is a top priority body in the CIS which strengthens cooperation between member states.
Armenian Prosecutor-General Anna Vardapetyan assumed the chairmanship of the council during the meeting.
