Armenian PM’s Chief of Staff meets OIF Administrator in Paris to discuss 2027 La Francophonie Games

Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office of Armenia, met with Caroline St-Hilaire, Administrator of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), during a visit to Paris.

According to a readout from the Prime Minister’s Office, Harutyunyan and St-Hilaire discussed ongoing steps to host the 2027 La Francophonie Games (2027 Jeux de la Francophonie) in Armenia, including the current stage of preparations and upcoming tasks.

Chief of Staff Harutyunyan noted that the visit also aims to study Paris’s experience in hosting the Olympic Games, which could be valuable for organizing the La Francophonie Games at a high level.

Both officials described bilateral cooperation as effective and expressed confidence that the Games will be properly and successfully organized in Armenia.

They also discussed matters related to an upcoming meeting of culture ministers from OIF member states, set to take place in Armenia.
