Int'l Day of Victims of Enforced Disappearances: Armenia reaffirms commitment to ensure justice is served

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has released a statement on International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, reaffirming commitment to the right of families to know the fate of their loved ones and to ensuring that justice is served in relation to those persons.

The statement was released on X. 

“15 years ago, the UN General Assembly designated August 30 as the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances. Armenia, as a party to the Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, reaffirms its commitment to the right of families to know the fate of their loved ones & to ensuring that justice is served in relation to those persons,” the statement reads.
